There’s nothing more highly sought after in the world of Internet Marketing than free images that can be used for commercial use. Whether that be to use on blog posts, or on t-shirts and mugs to sell online, or who knows… the uses are just as wide as the world wide web!
Royalty free images are an open secret. But the major annoyance is searching online for royalty free images, finding a site and only then finding out that the site is charging for the images by using ‘credits’ or some other irritating method. Frustrating, isn’t it?

#1 - I don’t know how to set up a blog.
WordPress makes this really easy by providing an extremely user-friendly experience. They also have a bunch of tutorials and videos, not to mention a forum and numerous ‘fan’ sites where help is just a Google search away. You can also find YouTube videos on every aspect of setting up a WP blog. In fact, this site and my other seven sites (the serious ones) are all built on WordPress. You can’t go wrong!
#2 – I don’t have traffic.
There are so many ways to generate traffic it can become mind boggling! - SEO your site, SEO your posts, comment on other blogs, write articles for article directories to syndicate (this is the CORRECT method of article marketing – don’t let anyone tell you different!), post comments in forums with your blog link in your signature – but please don’t SPAM, guest post, hold a competition, etc. etc. I will be dedicating more time in the future to traffic generation. It’s not complex or difficult; there’s just a lot of methods and they all work. The key to success is to pick the ones you are happy to do without getting bored and do them very regularly. It can also pay to outsource some of them, but that’s a whole other kettle of cats and I’ll get to that another time. By the way, don’t forget my previous post about Social Monkee – one of my favourite methods and one I use all the time with visible results.
#3 – I run out of things to say.
Don’t feel bad, we’ve all been there. And it’s worse when you have a three minute timer, a drink clutched in the palm of a sweaty hand and you are sat in front of a gorgeous, aloof, stranger at a speed dating event. Sorry, I digress…
This is one of the biggest problems facing affiliate marketing bloggers. And in the spirit of this blog I am going to share one of the things I have found most helpful. PLR. Yep, it’s a dirty word in some quarters, but it doesn’t deserve the bad name some are keen to give it. I’ve seen plenty of people renounce the idea of blogs and ebooks making money, having found some cheap PLR crap and throwing it word for word onto thir blog/book, then in bitter resentment at their failure they decide to bad mouth the PLR and claim it as ineffective.
I have found that PLR has incredibly realistic and beneficial uses. I have always enjoyed writing and I know where to get good PLR – so for me it’s just a matter of using the PLR as a springboard to help keep my writer’s block at bay. in fact, shhhh… don’t tell anyone, but I have a PLR site that I am building at the moment! I’ll let you know when it is ready and please feel free to take a look.

Do You Want $47 For Nothing?
I had one of those Zen moments not long ago. you know one of those A-HA moments? And I don’t mean anything to do with Norwegian pop music. I see it as having been the dawn of my own transition from ‘Newbie’ to ‘Nuru’. I don’t remember how I came across the report that changed everything for me, but I remember the feeling of inner satisfaction when I realised I could see the kernel at the centre of the IM popcorn.
Like many other Newbies, my journey in the IM world had been quite a shiny object chase! And in a way I think that’s a necessary part of the learning curve. It certainly helped me get to grips with one very important fact: there is no secret sauce.
I’ll just give you a moment to let that sink in. No secret sauce! There you go, I just said it again to show you how important that statement is.
When you reach a point of knowledge where you realise you have just wasted more money on more junk that didn’t teach you anything more than you already knew; and it dawns on you that the only ingredient missing from your ‘armoury’ is hard work – then Grasshopper, then you will be at one with your internet router.
I digress. Get used to it, this is a web we are spinning here. I don’t recall who sent me this report that I mentioned. I only recall its tremendous effect on my work. Until I read this report I was very busy working online. Then I realised I was very busy but I wasn’t working. I wasn’t taking action, I was confusing myself by doing ‘stuff’. Somehow each day ended without me getting any closer to my goals.
The report I received changed my outlook so much that I copied down one statement from it, printed it out and stuck it up on a box in front of me so that I could see it every day.
That statement is a bold one – and it refers to how many days working just FOUR HOURS A DAY it would take to get more work done than 99% of people trying to make money online would get done in an ENTIRE YEAR!
